The Corgi system has now changed to 'GAS SAFE REGISTER' & all current Corgi members should be displaying the new Gas Safe Stickers and Logos and have an I.D card. Check their number against the gas safe site by going to www.gassaferegister.co.uk
From now onwards you will need planning permission for block paving your driveway if its over five square meters in size. Unless you are making it pourous to surface water.

All replacement boilers have to be condensing boilers with an energy rating of 'A' or 'B'. Extreme Cases will allow non condensing if necessary however Please ensure your plumber is Corgi Registered to work on Gas, Find out Here if they are. ( see note above ref GAS SAFE)
Always check with your local Council to see if you need Building regs or Planning before you start work, Don't take a builders word that you don't. It could cost you dearly afterwards to rectify things, just for the sake of a phone call.
Ask your friends for recommendations for tradesmen as this is generally the best way to find one that is reliable and you can see their work prior to booking them. This is the only advertising I do and 99% of my work is by word of mouth recommendation.
